Graveside service for Dorothy "Dot" Nell Ruth, 67, of Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Ninnekah
Cemetery.
Dorothy "Dot" Nell Ruth was born December 12, 1937 in Alex, Oklahoma the
daughter of William David and Girthey Viola [Dallas] Howard and died May
20, 2005 at her home in Oklahoma City. She was the youngest of 14
children.
Dot was the manager of the Wonder Bread Bakery in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Clinton Edward
Howard, Charlie Howard, Tommie Howard and Alvin Bane Howard; and three
sisters, Lillian Sanders, Jane Thornton, and Phyllis Purnell.
Survivors include three sons and their spouses, Kenneth and Pam Howard,
Gaylin and Susan Ruth, Terry and Kitty Ruth; four sisters, Lavada Ferrell
of Chickasha, Bertha Smith of Paris, Texas, June Winnard of Oklahoma City,
and Elsie Hinson of Chickasha; two brothers, Dan Howard and wife Virginia
of Chickasha, and Bill Howard and wife Bernice, of Oklahoma City; seven
grandchildren, Shannon and Robert Stone, Brandi and Jason Garner, David
Ruth, Tim Ruth, Ken Ruth, Matt Howard and Katie Howard; one great
grandchild, Kohn Garner; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier
Funeral Home.
