Graveside service for Geneva Ruth Pitts, age 81, of Anadarko, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in the Ninnekah Cemetery.
Geneva Ruth Pitts was born January 31, 1924 at Stratford, Oklahoma. She died Friday, January 13, 2006, in Chickasha. She was the daughter of Adolphus and Nellie [Stanley] Engle.
Mrs. Pitts had lived in Anadarko for the last 28 years. He husband Ned Pitts, her son Gerald Henderson and parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters: Charlotte Yancey of Chickasha; Cynthia Henderson of Anadarko; four sons: Roy D. Henderson of Texas; Gary Henderson of Healdton, Oklahoma; Kenneth Henderson of Kingston, Oklahoma, David Henderson of Oklahoma City; three sisters: Hasel Basham of Chickasha; Wanda Walker of South Carolina; Nadean Rivas of Texas; four brothers: Bill Engle, Cotton Engle, Dewey Paul Engle and Sam Engle all of Texas; 15 grandchildren and 17 grat grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
