Donald L Ladd, 73, was born April 12, 1935, to William and Hildred Ladd in Pine Grove, California, and passed away March 20, 2009 at his residence in the Laverty community.
Donald was a truck driver for many years and was a custodian at the Ninnekah Public Schools for the past two years. He also owned and operated the L and L Trash Company in Ninnekah.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dixie, in 1991, his parents, 3 brothers, Aldie, Ralph and Ray, and an infant sister.Survivors include 1 daughter, Rebecca Welborn and husband Christopher, Fort Hood, Texas; 1 son, Robert Ladd, 3 grandchildren, Kayla Ladd, Courtney Alcorn and Hunter Alcorn; 1 sister, Ellen Ladd of California; special friend, Cynthia Bramblett of Cement; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private graveside service was held Saturday, March 21, 2009, in the Ninnekah Cemetery, under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko.
