© The Chickasha Express-Star Tuesday, 20 December 2005 Louise Mable [Bond] James Funeral services for Louise Mable James, 95, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Louise Mable James was born February 21, 1910 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma the daughter of Grover Winston and Mabel Lois Bond and died December 18, 2005 in Chickasha. Mrs. James was raised in the Chitwood area by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Cunningham. She and Dock James were married in 1947 in Chickasha. They lived in Ninnekah, Oklahoma for many years. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her only son, Robert "Hoss" Phillips in 1996 and one sister, Willie Miller of California. Mrs. James was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Ninnekah Baptist Church. Survivors include: three grandchildren: Tracy Ann Phillips, Gregory Ray Phillips & Jamie Lynn Rutledge all of Chickasha; daughter-in-law: Phyllis Phillips of Chickasha. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Visitation will be held in the Community Room of Sevier Funeral Home, Wednesday, before the services. |
