Funeral services for D. O. Jackson, 76, of Bloomington, California, will
be held Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 10:00 a/m., in the Ninnekah Methodist
Church, in Ninnekah, Oklahoma.
D. O. Jackson was born on March 10, 1929, in Virginia.
He died on April 28, 2005, at his home in Bloomington, California. D. O.
moved to California in 1956. In 1976 he married Bonnie Brand, of
Ninnekah.
They were married for 29 years, building a life together and making many
beautiful memories along the way.
They moved to Bloomington, California in 1979.
D. O. Was the owner and Chief Executive Officer of D. O. Jackson Trucking,
in Fontana, California.
He enjoyed managing his trucking company, traveling, and spending time
with his friends, family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Bonnie Jackson; one son, Charles Jackson; one
daughter, Diana Boyd; one step-son, Howard Gardner; two sisters: Dana
Martin and Joan Payne; one brother, Johnny Jackson; seven grandchildren;
and three great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the new south section of the Ninnekah Cemetery under
the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
