Martha Anne [McFadden] Holder
Feb. 15, 1926 ~ April 29, 2010

Graveside funeral service for Martha Anne Holder, 84, of Chickasha, formerly of Alex, will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 3, 2010, in the Ninnekah Cemetery. The Rev. Barbara Hunt will officiate.

Martha Anne was born the daughter of Elmer L. McFadden and Ruth Lambert McFadden on Feb. 15, 1926 in Washington, Iowa. She died on April 29, 2010, in Chickasha.

Martha grew up in Iowa and later moved to Nebraska where she met R. L. Holder. They were married on Dec. 12, 1944.

Martha worked in a munition plant during World War II. Martha returned to Iowa while her husband was overseas during the war.

After the war, Martha and R. L. moved to the farm west of Alex. Martha was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Vaughn Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruth McFadden; two brothers, Louis and James McFadden; one sister, Kathryn Mason.

Survivors include her husband, R. L. Holder of Alex, daughter and husband, Rita Lee & Leslie Beutler of Alex, granddaughter and husband, Tricia and Boyd Langford of Minco, grandson and wife, Larry and DeLonda Fuller of Oklahoma City, step-granddaughter and husband, Sarita & Darrel Sinclair of Tuttle, step-granddaughter and husband, Laci and K. C. Culbert of Tyler, Texas, eight great grandchildren, Alyssa Zakariassen; Jordan Langford; Tripp Fuller; Dawson Fuller, Reece Fuller; Carisa Holt; Elizabeth Holt; Lilly Culbert, two great great grandchildren, one nephew & four nieces, and many friends. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
