Billie D. [Russell] Hatchett

Bille D. Hatchett was born Feb. 6, 1930 in Mountain View, Okla. to Freeman & Daisy [Johnson] Russell. She passed away Jan. 15, 2012 in Chickasha, Okla

Billie moved to Chickasha at the age of 12 and graduated high school with the class of 1949.

She married Jesse Hatchett on June 21, 1950 and was happily married for 59 years.

She was a homemaker, professional seamstress and worked for Anthony's, Lees Casual, Mr. D's, Jean's Dress shop to name a few & many individuals about town.

She made numerous beautiful quilts completely by hand and took great pride & pleasure in her work. She was always busy with some kind of project.

Billie had a positive, uplifting influence on all who knew her and always brought cheer & laughter wherever she was.

Billie was a member of the First Assembly of God Church & great inspiration by her love of life and her never-ending faith ibn the Lord.

She enjoyed traveling, camping, visiting with family & friends, cooking, baking & music.

She was always delighted at beautiful birds & flowers.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Hatchett, on Oct. 24, 2009, her parents, two grandaughters, Amie Pethel & Shannon Cogburn and two sisters, Margaret Bird and Josie Earnest.

She is survived by her three children; two sons; Joel & Esta Hatchett & their children: Sarha Coley, Abram "Butch" Hatchett, Jeff Cogburn, Heather McClees, Cory Cogburn, Mark & Lisa Hatchett and children, Jeremiah, Spec. Mark Jr,and Cody Hatchett, Alisa Voegeli, Max Wagner, daughter Linda Lindsey and several gr-grandchildren. Brother, Austin "Chocko" Russell of Hawaii, sister, Janie & Bill Warren of Idaho, aunt Lucille & Jay Collins of Midwest City, Okla. and many other relatives & friends.

Jesse Lee Hatchett

Funeral services for Jesse Lee Hatchett, 78, of Chickasha, OK will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church.

Jesse Lee Hatchett was born April 26, 1931 in Reydon, Oklahoma to L.C. and Lahoma [Coffee] Hatchett. He passed away at his home on Saturday, October 24, 2009.

Jesse moved to the Ninnekah area as a small child.

Jesse married Billie Russell June 21, 1950 in Chickasha, OK.

He retired from the Chickasha Fire Department.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Chickasha and a member of the Retired Firefighter Association.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents and 2 granddaughters, Amie Pethel and Shannon Cogburn.

He is survived by his wife, Billie, of Chickasha; a daughter, Linda Lindsey of Chickasha; two sons, Joel Hatchett and his wife, Esta, of Chickasha and Mark Mark Hatchett and his wife, Lisa, of Chickasha; 2 sisters: Shirley Ibsen of Chickasha and Joan Hightower of Guthrie, OK; 2 brothers: brothers: Lewis Hatchett of Chickasha and Lavon Hatchett of Chickasha; grandchildren: Sarah Caly, Butch Hatchett, Jeff, Heather and Cory Cogburn, Jerimah Hatchett, Cody Hatchett, Max Wagner, Alisa Wagner and Mark Hatchett, Jr.; 5 Great Grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Lewis Dewayne Hatchett

Funeral service for Lewis Hatchett of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Parkview Christian Church.

Lewis Dewayne Hatchett was born April 26, 1934 in Reydon, Oklahoma to Luther and Lahoma (Coffey) Hatchett. He passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Lewis grew up in the Chickasha and Ninnekah area. He worked as a machinist for Badgett Corporation for over 30 years. He had also worked for the Pioneer and Chickasha schools for several years. He was a member of Parkview Christian Church and served as a deacon.

He married Carolyn Sue Mason on July 19, 1975.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jesse Hatchett.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Hatchett; Children: Jan Pamplin and her husband, Tommy; Dawna Dorough and her husband, Bruce; Todd Hatchett and his wife, Loretta; Sandy Simpson and her husband, David; Tina Walker and her husband, David; 18 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren; Brother, Lavon Hatchett; Sisters: Shirley Ibsen and Joan Hightower.

Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.sevierfuneralhome.com.

Cecil Lavon Hatchett

Cecil Lavon Hatchett was born March 21, 1941 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma to Luther and Lahoma (Coffey) Hatchett. He passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

Lavon had lived in Grady County his entire life. He served in the U.S. Army in 1961. He worked as a welder for over 30 years then as a painter with Blackburn Painting.

He married Erlene Blackburn on July 27, 1963 in Chickasha. He was a member of Grand Assembly of God Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Lewis and Jesse Hatchett.

Lavon is survived by his wife, Erlene Hatchett; 2 children: Sherrie Hatchett and Jason Hatchett and his wife, Shawna; 2 grandchildren: Aubyn and Ian Hatchett; 2 sisters: Shirley Ibsen and Joan Hightower.
