Funeral service for Aaron Gabriel age 67 of Chickasha will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday October 24, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Lloyd Aaron Gabriel was born April 16, 1939 in Pocasset, Oklahoma.
He was the son of Lloyd Gilbert and Sadie [Ehardt] Gabriel. He died Saturday, October 21, 2006 at his home in Chickasha. Aaron had lived in Grady County and Kingfisher all of his life.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He had worked for Phillips 66 Petroleum for 17 years before his retirement.
He married Shirley Britton March 30, 1963 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
His parents, one son Randy Gabriel and one brother Harvey Gabriel preceded him in death.
Survivors include: his wife Shirley Gabriel of the home in Chickasha; one daughter: Tonya Smallwood and her husband Paul of Chickasha; three grandchildren: Brittany Paige Kelley, Nicole Kelley and John Smallwood all of Chickasha; three brothers: Carl Gabriel of Oklahoma City; Charlie Gabriel and wife Louise of Chickasha; Donald Gabriel and wife Gladys of Duncan; two sisters: Pauline Peoples of Lawton, Oklahoma; Bernadine Porterfield and husband Hal of Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
