© Chickasha Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma March 24, 2003 May 19, 1936 ~ March 22, 2003 Funeral service for Evelyn Wanez Frederick, age 66, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Sister Alice Wendling will officiate. Evelyn was born the daughter of Marvin Ellis and Ambrosa Barker Ellis on May 19, 1936, in Sayre, Oklahoma. She died March 22, 2003, in Chickasha. Evelyn lived in the Chickasha area most of her life. She moved to Chickasha at a young age and graduated from Chickasha High School. On July 23, 1955, she married Bill Frederick in Chickasha. Evelyn worked for several years as a secretary for a local insurance agency. However, the devotion of her life was to her family. She was also a devoted member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one infant brother. Survivors include: son: Jack Frederick of Chickasha; son and wife: Johnny and Carolyn Frederick of Marlow; brother: Harold Ellis of Arkansas; grand children: Cara, Shauna, Brianna, and Jessica; numerous other loving family. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
