Cecil was universally liked and his death was deplored by all. The funeral services at the familt residence on December 24th was conducted by Rev W. L. Rector, his pastor, who endeavored by well chosen words to comfort the bereaved family. The body was interred in the Ninnekah cemetery. The trip to the cemetery, owing to the bad weather and terrible roads was an exceeedingly difficult one. ~ ~ ~ Frank Cole and Herbert Farley, who live in the south part of the city, were pleasant callers at our office Monday. They came in to call our attention to the fact that we made a mistake when we printed in the last week's paper that Cecil Fletcher died of meningitis. It was pneumonia instead. |
