Henry Cofer
Third Accident Victim Dies Henry Cofer, 43, Ninnekah, died at 12:40 this morning in a local hospital, the third member of the family to succumb to injuries received when the car in which they were riding was struck by a Rock Island motor coach a half mile south of Ninnekah late Sunday afternoon.
Funeral services for Mr. Cofer, his wife, Grace, and their son, Wayne, will be conducted at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the school auditorium at Ninnekah. Burial will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home.
Three other children, Tom, Earl and Shirley, who were injured in the accident, were reported by hospital attendants to be out of danger and getting along as well as could be expected.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon in the school auditorium at Ninnekah by Rev. L. D. Parton for the three crash victims of the Cofer family.
Surviving members include: four sons, John Henry Cofer, stationed in Normandy, Rueben Cofer, somewhere in the South Pacific, Tom Cofer and Earl Cofer of the home ; 2 daughters, Mary Katherine Cofer and Shirley Cofer of the home.
