Elaine Ruth [Stephens] Baxter
Funeral for Elaine Ruth Baxter was held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26,1988 in the First Baptist Church of Tuttle, Rev. Travis Hannah officiated, assisted by Rev. Alvin McConnell of Lindsay, and Rev. Kenneth Romines. Pallbearers were Donald Baxter, Jerry Baxter, Charles Henry Stephens, Donald Dwaine Stephens, James Oliver Stephens, Robert Louis Stephens.
Honary pallbearers were Douglas Baxter, Bryan Baxter, George Wauhob, Homer Harrell, Charlie Howery, Harold Barrington.
Organist was Thelma Marlow and pianist was Terry Brown. Vocal music was by the church choir, and by Pat DeGuisti, soloist.
Burial was in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.

Funeral for Elaine Ruth Baxter 53, Tuttle formerly of Chickasha will be Saturday March 26, 1988 at 1:30 p.m. in the Tuttle First Baptist Church.
She was born July 28,1934 in rural Chickasha and died March 22, 1988 in an Oklahoma City hospital.
She had lived in the Grady County all of her life, moving to Tuttle in 1971.
On June 15,1956 she married Billy Joe Baxter in Chickasha.
She was a past employee of Munn's Flowers and The Chickasha Gin and Mill.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle and the Tuttle FFA Mothers Club.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Willie Henry Stephens in 1959, and by one infant son, Billy Joe Baxter in 1957.
She survived by her husband; Billy Joe Baxter of the home in Tuttle, one daughter, Cynthia Janella Anderson of Oklahoma City, two sons Douglas Johnathan Baxter of Stillwater, and Bryan Joseph Baxter of the home in Tuttle; two grandchildren, Emily Katherine Anderson and Kenneth William Anderson both of Oklahoma City; her mother Willie Stephens of Ninnekah, four brothers, Charles Henry Stephens of Coleman, Donald Dwaine Stephens of Chickasha, James Oliver Stephens of Ninnekah, Robert Louis Stephens of Duncan, and one sister Janice Nell Burns of Ninnekah.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
