Funeral Services for Tressa June Wood, Lovingly known as "Sissy", 49, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in the Chapel of the Sevier Funeral Home.
Tressa "Sissy" Wood was born January 1, 1960 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Wayne Dean Cunningham Sr. and Gayle [Garrett] Cunningham and died Friday, May 1, 2009 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Tressa attended Pioneer Grade School and then Ninnekah High School.
She married Delbert Wood on October 1, 1976 in Cement, Oklahoma.
She lived in Alex and the Chickasha area most of her life.
In 1995 she bought At Your Service answering service and ran it until her death. She raised three boys and worked too.
She is preceded in death by; Grandparents: Boss and Cleo Cunningham and Bert and Ola Garrett.
Surviving family include: Her husband, Delbert Wood of the Home; Three Sons: Jeffery and his wife Valerie Wood of Chickasha; Jason and his wife Erin Wood of Chickasha and Jeramy and his wife Leigh Wood of Hugo, Oklahoma; Her Parents: Wayne and Gayle Cunningham of Chickasha; Two Brothers: Dean and his wife Karen Cunningham of Chickasha and Denny and his wife Debi Cunningham of Chickasha; Two Sisters: Mary and her husband Gary Alexander of Sterling, Oklahoma and Penny and her husband Terry McCoin of Elgin, Oklahoma; Four Grandchildren: Daniel, Dylan, Kedra and Kadenand many Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in the Laverty Cemetery under the Direction of the Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma.
