Chickasha ~ Services for Edith M. White, 58, of Chickasha were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Sevier Funeral Home at Chickasha with the Rev. Johnny Curtsinger of Lawton officiating.
Mrs. White died Monday at the University Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was born Feb. 7, 1922 near Anadarko ad married Wayne White in May 1940. Mrs. White was a member of the Laverty Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of the home; one son, Melvin of Muskogee; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Kelsey of Merced, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Sands of Anadarko and Mrs. Opal Lanning of Merced; three brothers, Ray Haygood of Chickasha, Ernest Haygood of Fresno, Calif., and Will Haygood of Merced, and two grandchildren.
Burial was in the Laverty Cemetery.
