© Eisenhour Funeral Home Blanchard, Oklahoma September 17, 1936 De Roy Ryans went to be with his Savior August 1, 2012 at his daughter's home in Blanchard. He was a man of amazing faith and held his family together with a love that knew no bounds. De was born September 17, 1936 in Cement, Oklahoma the fifth of 11 children born to Hamp and Ollie Ryans. De married Glenda Maye Whaley December 24, 1958 in Verden, Oklahoma. From their union came three daughters: Janet, Annette and Kim, followed by 27 grand and great grandchildren. De worked as a master carpenter until he and Glenda started "Nuthin But Country" in 1984, and De retired from Ace Hardware in 2002. He loved fishing and building furniture and spent a lot of time in his shop, on his tractor, and working to refurbish his boat. "One link broken on earth; another link added in heaven". He is preceded in death by his parents, Hamp and Ollie [Cornell] Ryans; infant sister, Katherine; four brothers, Johnny Ryans, Tooter Ryans, Marvin Ryans and Herman Ryans; and grandson-in-law, Corey Patterson. De is survived by his wife, Glenda [Whaley] Ryans of the home; three daughters and their spouses; Janet and Richard Pettijohn, Annette and Mike Smith, and Kim and Terry McLead, all of Blanchard, Oklahoma; 27 grand and great grandchildren, Cindy [Pettijohn] and Landon Lewis and children, Jenna and Cameron, Destiney [Smith] and Kendall Margerum and children, Tyler and Kinsey, Jarred and Shambra Pettijohn and children, Emily and Weston, Cheyenne Smith, Rebecca [McLead] and Chris Singley and children, Sadie and Nathan, Tara McLead and Chris Ratliff and child, Austin, Dena [Pettijohn] and Ryan Tauriainen, Brittanie [Smith] and Cory Trujillo and child, Alexia, Samantha McLead, and Shauna McLead; three sisters and their spouses; Juanita and Mickey Snider of Cyril, Oklahoma, Virginia and Freddie Humphreys of Lewiston, Idaho, and Lorene and Constintino Sousa of Galt, California; two brothers and their spouses, Alvin and Gladys Ryans of Ninnekah, Oklahoma and Allen Ryans of Duncan, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Landon Lewis will officiate with interment held in the Laverty Cemetery.
