Helen Frances [Rice] Phegley
Services for Helen Frances Phegley, 77, of Verden, will be announced later by Sevier Funeral Home. Helen Frances Phegley was born October 18, 1918, in Minnesota, the daughter of John and Florence Vivian ( Young ) Rice, and died Friday, August 30, 1996, in Chickasha.
She and Paul Robert Phegley were married February 19, 1938, in Aitkin, Minnesota.
They had lived in Oklahoma in the Chickasha and Verden areas since 1969. Mrs. Phegley worked as a caretaker at private resorts in Minnesota.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, and one great-grandson, Jeff Jacobs.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Robert Phegley of Verden; one daughter, Carol Keil of Verden; two sons, Pat Phegley of Laverty, and Jay Phegley of Waurika; two sisters, Eiline Tunison of Washington, and Rachel Pearson of Yuma, Arizona; one brother, Norman Rice of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Graveside memorial service for Helen Frances Phegley, 77, of Verden, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday September 15, 1996 at the Laverty Cemetery.
Helen Frances Phegley was born October 18, 1919 in Minnesota, the daughter of John and Florence Vivian Rice, and died Friday, August 30, 1996, in Chickasha.

Graveside memorial service for Helen Frances Phegley, 77,of Verden, was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 1996, at the Laverty Cemetery. Rev. Robert Schmidt, Plainview Mennonite Church, officiated.
Music was provided by the Plainview Mennonite Church Choir.
Interment was in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
