Cody Shawn, Keaton & Kyrstin Parson
Funeral services for Cody Shawn Parson, 24, the mother of Keaton Parson, 6, and Kyrstin Parson, 3, all of Amber, will be held Friday, November 28, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. in the College Heights Baptist Church with Danny Carlisle officiating. Cody Shawn Parson was born May 21, 1979, in Marlow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bill Carlisle and Novella Ryans Carlisle.
Her son, Keaton Parson, was born October 31, 1997, in Norman, and her daughter, Kyrstin, was born February 25, 2000, in Oklahoma City, both the children of Jeff Parson. They all died Sunday, November 23, 2003, near Tuttle, as the result of an auto accident.
Cody grew up in the Chickasha area and attended Chickasha Public Schools.
She married Jeff Parson on January 16, 1997.
Cody had been a homemaker, caring and rearing her children. She loved spending time and going on outings with her family and friends. She was excited about her son Keaton just starting kindergarten this year.
Her mother and one son, Zachary, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff, of the hone; one son, Hayden, of the home; father and stepmother, Bill and Linda Carlisle, of Chickasha; brothers and sisters-in-law: Danny and Misha Carlisle, Bobby and Dawn Roehrick, Randy Carlisle, Reina Smith, Tina and Dennis Buchanan and Dawayne Roehrick; stepsister and her husband, Jenny and Shaun Gaunce; her mother and father-in-law, Paula and Jack Remy; and sisters-in-law, Patricia Parson and Melissa Remy Walker.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jeff Parson and Reina Smith Medical Fund at the First National Bank in Chickasha, to help with medical expenses for the surviving family members of the accident.
Interment for all three will be in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Casket bearers for Cody, were Randy Carlisle, Johnny Burns, Greg Seibold, Bobby Roehrick, Bull Turner and Todd Smith.
Casket bearers for Keaton were Dennis King, John Beach, Dale Turner and Matt Massey.
Casket bearers for Kyrstin were Jerry Cotton, Frank Freed, Alvin Beach and Dale Ast.
