Funeral service for Ruby Lee Lynn, 84, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2003, at the United Pentecostal Church.
Ruby Lee Lynn was born January 30, 1919, in Bridgeport, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Calvin and Essie Mae (Mahan) Wilson, and died December 6, 2003, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Lynn had lived in Chickasha, Enid and Stillwater before moving back to Chickasha in 1982. She was a professional tailor.
She and Z. B. Lynn were married March 1, 1942. He preceded her in death March 20, 1996. Mrs. Lynn was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
She was also preceded in death by: 3 brothers: Leonard, Donald and Buster Wilson; 1 sister, Julia Mae Steinburg.
Survivors include: 1 daughter, Rachel Taylor of Chickasha; 1 son, J. D. Lynn of Grandview, Texas; 4 brothers: Calvin Wilson, Alvin Wilson, George Wilson and Albert Wilson; 2 sisters: Lois Tipton, Lillian Wilson; 8 grandchildren: John Smith, Jordan Kidd, Whitley Kidd, Joshua Kidd, Michelle Brewer, Mike Lynn, Shelby Lynn, and Jerry Lynn; 9 great grandchildren.
Interment was in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
