Funeral service for Scott Huddleston, age 37, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2006, at the College Heights Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Kersh will officiate with Rev. James Swain assisting.
Scott was born the son of Jimmy Huddleston and Sue Bishop Huddleston, on July 21, 1969, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died on December 21, 2006 at his home.
Scott grew up in the Cache area and graduated from Cache High School.
After graduation, he attended Cameron University and U.S.A.O. While attending U.S.A.O., he began working at Standley's Office Systems where he became a technician and later a sales representative. Scott worked at Standley's for twelve years.
Scott married Melissa Brookman on Oct. 18, 1997. He was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stonewall and Auba Huddleston, and his maternal grandfather, Orval Bishop.
Survivors include: Wife: Melissa of the home; Daughter: Carleigh of the home; Parents: Jimmy & Sue Huddleston of Cache, OK; Brother & wife: Matt & Tammy Huddleston of Cache, OK; Brother: Darrell Huddleston of Cache, OK; Sister & husband: Daneice & Tony Foster of Tuttle, OK; Grandmother: Ruth Bishop of Lawton, OK; Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Burial will be in the Laverty Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
