Funeral service for Opal Novilla Bailey Ford, 95, of Cement, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the Laverty Baptist Church.
Opal Novilla Bailey Ford was born February 11, 1911 in Laverty, Oklahoma the daughter of Emanuel Wesley and Eva L. [Wood] Bailey and died March 18, 2006 at her home in Cement.
She lived in Grady County most of her life and farmed in the Lake Burtschi area.
She was a charter member of the Laverty Baptist Church.
Opal was preceded in death by: parents: husband: Ira Ford in 1968; one stepson: Melvin Ford in 1993; five brothers, Homer, William, Emanuel, Bruce and Reford Bailey; three sisters: Hester Cates, Geneva Roberts and Lorene Summers.
Survivors include: one daughter: Evalee Houtz and husband, Danny of Cement; two sons: David Files of Cement; Troy Ford and wife, Linda of Cement; one sister: Mildred Bishop of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
