Rites Saturday for Glen White's Father

Chickasha, May 15--Services were held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Chickasha for Charles H. White, 65, father of Glen White of Carnegie. Mr. White died Thursday in Halstead, KS., where he had been for the past three years for treatments.

He retired about three years as a Rock Island engineer after having served for 29 years with the company in Chickasha. He had been a resident of the community for 32 years.

Surviving memebers of the family include his widow, and six sons, Pat of Apache, Glen of Carnegie and Hugh, Arthur, Sam and Charles all of Chickasha; one brother in Arkansas and one sister in Texas.

Many times during his long years' service on the railroad, he was on the run thru Carnegie.
