October 21, 1921 ~ January 5, 2012


Funeral mass for Leonard G. Voegeli, 90, of Amber will be held at 10a.m., Monday Jan 9, 2012 at the Holy Name Catholic Church. Rosary will be held 5:30p.m., Sunday , January 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Wake Service will be held 6p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral home.

LEONARD G. VOEGELI was born October 21, 1921 in Chickasha, the son of Michael Nicholas and Elizabeth Ann [Redin] Voegeli. He passed away January 5, 2012 at his home in the company of his loved ones.

He and Agnes R. Mrasek were married January 29,1945 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Chickasha.

Leonard will be remembered as a hard working farmer, great mechanic, loving husband and father. Besides being a farmer/rancher, he had numerous jobs as a mechanic before he started working for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. After he retired he returned to farming full-time.

He was a life time member of Holy Name Catholic Church and was very active in church activities and was a third and fourth degree in the Knights os Columbus. Through his life he enjoyed participating in rodeo events and flying airplanes.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Brother: Raymond Voegeli, Sisters :Loretta Novotny, Florence Wallace, Genevieve Stotter, Marcella Dobry, Granddaughter: Tiffany Evans Morrison, and Son-in-law: James Parks.

Survivors include: Loving wife of 67 years: Agnes R. Voegeli of the home, Children: James and Dorothy Voegeli of Seiling, Rita and Sid Evans of Oklahoma City, Mary Ann and Leon Ast of Pocasset, Betty and Mark Wright of Stratford, Texas, Michael and Lesta Voegeli of Chickasha; Sisters: Ophelia Arledge of Oklahoma City, Theresa Hunt of El Cajon, Calif.; Sister-in-law: Mary Voegeli of Chickasha; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews and many other friends and relatives.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

November 21, 1924 ~ July 24, 2013


Funeral Mass for Agnes R. Voegeli of Amber, will be 10 a.m. p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Chickasha. A wake service with Rosary will be 6 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, in the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel.

Agnes R. Voegeli was born November 21, 1924 in Amber, to John and Frances [Novotny] Mrasek. She passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Edmond at the age of 88.

Agnes grew up and lived in the Amber-Chickasha area her entire life.

She married Leonard G. Voegeli on January 29, 1945 in Chickasha, and they were happily married for 66 years.

She and Leonard farmed and ranched. Agnes had also worked as a PBX phone operator, and for Standard Oil Co., The Shoe Store, Kress Co., and retired from the Chickasha Public Schools.

Agnes and her family were one of the founding families of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church of Chickasha. She was a member of Alter Society and Sacristian. She was also active in CFM of the church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Leonard G. Voegeli on Jan. 5, 2012, a granddaughter, Tiffany Evans Morrison, a son-in-law, James Parks and a brother-in-law, Rocky Ingle.

Agnes is survived by her 5 children: James and Dorothy Voegeli, of Seiling, Rita and Sid Evans, of Edmond, Mary Ann and Leon Ast, of Pocasset, Betty and Mark Wright, of Stratford, Texas, Michael and Lesta Voegeli, of Chickashaa; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; a brother, Vincent Mrasek and Judi, of Claremore; three sisters: Mary Ingle, of Hawthorn, Calif., Margaret Pierson and Bob, of Hemet, Calif., Teresa Holy and Charles, of West, Texas; multitude of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Center Of Love, P.O. Box 245, Okarche, OK 73762.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home
