© Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Friday, December 27, 1918 1839 ~ December 25, 1918 BODY OF AGED MAN INTERRED AT HOLY NAME Adolphus Smith, father of Mrs. C. G. Hubbard, died Wednesday morning at the Hubbard home, 517 South Fourth Street. Old age is given as the cause of the death, Mr. Smith being nearly 80 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Holy Name Cemetery this morning at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Wilwerding. Mr. Smith is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hubbard of this city and Mrs. W. E. Ross of El Reno; two sons, Alfred and Charlie Smith of Siedonia, Kansas. All were at the bedside of their father when he passed away. His aged wife was also with him at the end. Mr. Smith had made his home with Mrs. Hubbard for three years, during which time he won many warm friends. |
