© Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Saturday, September 24, 1910, page 1 February 24, 1855 ~ September 24, 1910 PARALYSIS CAUSED A SUDDEN DEATH The death of Mrs. A. J. McDonald occurred yesterday afternoon about four o'clock at the home, 825 Colorado avenue. Apparently in good health, Mrs. McDonald had prepared dinner for the family and some time during the afternoon she was stricken with paralysis, no one else being at home at the time. Her lifeless form was found on the floor by one of the children. Mrs. McDonald was 55 years of age and eleven children survive her. Her husband died about a year ago as a result of injuries received in a fall at the round house. The children living in this city are Mr. Van Rankin, Mrs. Alice Butcher, Miss Jo McDonald, Jessie, Thresssa and James. Mrs. Butler, one of the daughters, arrived from Kansas City today, accompanied by her sisters, Mrs. Bronson and Miss Jo McDonald who have been visiting there. Funeral services will be conducted by Father Urban at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and interment will occur at Fairview cemetery. All the children are expected to be present at the funeral. Mrs. McDonald's death is mourned by a host of friends. |
