Bernard John Hebinck
February 10, 1854 ~ August 22, 1944


Requiem rites for Bernard John Heninck, pioneer, were held August 25 in Holy Name with Very Rev A. Pierets officiating.

Burial was in Holy Name Cemetery

Mr Hebinck, failing for three years, died August 22.

He was born in 1854 in Davenport. Iowa, and came to Okarche in 1894.

There he married Miss Julia Florence Schlecht in 1898. Four children were born.

Mr Heninck farmed at Okarche until 1910 when he came to Chickasha where he worked for the Rock Island.

Surviving are his wife, Julia, one daughter, Mrs Ed E. Grothus of Davenport, Iowa and three sons, Carl R. of the home, Bernard J. and Raymond V., both of Enid. Fourteen grandchildren survive.
