© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, 1872 ~ August 26, 1933 Mother Of Cassville Merchant Passes Away Mrs Mary Agnes Daniels, wife of A. S. Daniels, Rogers merchant, and mother of C. A. Daniels, merchant of this city, passed away at the Daniels home in Rogers Saturday night, August 26, following an illness of about two weeks. Funeral services were held at Rogers Sunday afternoon August 27. The body was then taken to Chickasha, Okla. where interment was made Monday afternoon, August 28, a former home of the family. Mrs Daniels had suffered greatly for two weeks or more prior to her death from gallstones. She would recover, however, from these attacks, and the week before her death she had assisted her husband in their store. Her sudden death is believed to have resulted from a stroke of paralysis which had been gradually coming on since the last severe attack of gallstones one week before. Mrs Daniels, whose maiden name was Willett, was born in Kentucky. She was 61 years old. She is survived by her husband and an only son, C. A. Daniels of Cassville. |
