Donald Ray "Don" Charlton
Donald Ray "Don" Charlton was born April 16, 1954 at Oklahoma City to Walter Ray and Virginia Faith [Elrod] Charlton. Donald died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Physicians Hospital in Anadarko.
Services for Donald Ray "Don" Charlton, 55 of Anadarko will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009, 2 pm at the First Assembly of God Church in Anadarko.
Burial will follow at the Hazel Dell Cemetery NW of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Donald Ray "Don" Charlton
Services for Donald Ray "Don" Charlton, 55, of Anadarko were held on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at the First Assembly of God Church in Anadarko.Donald Ray "Don" Charlton was born April 16, 1954 in Oklahoma City to Walter Ray and Virginia Faith [Elrod] Charlton. He died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 at the Physicians Hospital in Anadarko.
Charlton was raised in Minco and graduated from Minci High School in 1973. He lived in the Minco community until 1998 when they moved to Anadarko.
He married Tanna Black on June 6, 2989 and worked as an auto mechanic and station attendant through his life. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Anadarko and served in the National Guard for four years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Charlton, wife Tanna Charlton on December 20, 2000 and sister and brother-in-law Judy and Daryl Mitchell.
He is survived by his father Walter Charlton of Minco, stepson Lester Jr. and Rebecca Rodgers of Rosenburg, Ore., stepdaughters Gayla and Dave Pierce of Rush Springs, Melody and Wes Gaston of Derby, Kan. and Valerie Rodgers of Oklahoma City, brother Jim and Pam Charlton of Norman, sister Sue and Johnny Johnson of Minco, stepgrandchildren Matt Pierce, Cristy Gaston and Caleb Rodgers and stepgreat grandchild Sawyer Gaston.
Rev. Don Stewart and Dwayne McGhghy, youth minister both of the First Assembly of God Church in Anadarko officiated, with burial following at the Hazel Dell Cemetery northwest of Minco, under the direction of Huber~Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
