Cox, 79, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2007 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Ethel A. Cox was born May 9, 1928 in Lacrosse, Oklahoma the daughter of Adolph and Mae [Worthington] Handke and died May 29, 2007 in Chickasha. Mrs. Cox lived in Grady County all other life. She was a homemaker with four boys and a loving husband. She and Aarron Kenneth Cox were married June 9, 1947. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by: one grandson: Jarrod Cox; one brother; two sisters. Survivors include: four sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Linda Cox of Oregon; Eddie and Marilyn Cox of Chickasha; Gary and Denise Cox of Chickasha; Marvin and Margo Cox of Oregon; two sisters: Julia Dudley of Chickasha; Leona Dudley of Kansas; one brother: Joe Handke of Mangum, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
