© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma August 12, 2003 September 21, 1972 ~ August 10, 2003 Funeral service for Shawn Edward Brady, age 30, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2003, in the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Rod Carroll will officiate. Shawn Edward Brady was born the son of Larry J. Brady and Sara Ellen Kennedy Brady on September 21, 1972. He died on August 10, 2003, in Verden, Oklahoma. Shawn grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School, where he was active in football and honor band. After graduation, he attended USAO to pursue a degree in business administration. He married Jill Hawkins in December of 1992. Shawn lived in several towns following his work and moved back to Chickasha in 2001. During these years, he worked at various jobs. Shawn was most recently employed as an electrical supply salesman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Brady and grandparents, Leo and Elva Lee Brady and Charles Kennedy. Survivors include: sons: Lane and Ty Brady of Chickasha; grandmother: Delores, and cousins; adopted family: Clayton and Cynthia Smith and their Family. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery in Pocasset, Oklahoma. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
