© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Purcell, Oklahoma Thursday, June 14, 2007 Travice "Dale" Ward November 8, 1940 ~ December 11, 2015 Dale Ward, age 75 of Tuttle, devoted family man and business man, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, December 11, 2015 in a hospital in OKC He was born on November 8, 1940 in Norman, OK. Dale was the oldest of three sons born to Travice Elmer Ward and Maxine Fay [Waddle] Ward. He grew up in OKC and graduated from U. S. Grant High School with the class of 1959. On May 27, 1960, one day after her high school graduation, Dale married the love of his life, Kathy Diane Costas. Together they raised two sons, Travice and Scott. They first made their home in OKC for eleven years before moving to Tuttle in 1971. Dale's lifelong career of woodworking began in a high school shop class. In 1959 after graduating he began working for Grissom Manufacturing where he worked for 32 years until he started his own business in 1991. Today he and his family own and operate "Ward Wood Products Inc." in OKC. Dale is survived by: His wife of 55 years, Kathy Ward of the home in Tuttle; Two sons, Travice Ward of Blanchard, Scott Ward and wife Lori of Tuttle; Two brothers, Allen Ward and wife Polly of Newcastle; Jack Ward of Edmond, Five grandchildren, Britni McElhany and husband James of Newcastle, Zac Ward and Lacey Steen of Tuttle, Hope Lovelady and husband Colby of Tuttle, Paige Ward of Tuttle, Thomas Ward of Tuttle; Dale was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Snow Hill Baptist Church, Tuttle, OK Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle. |
