Brian Stewart was born on July 3, 1975 to Jim & Jan Stewart of Tuttle, Oklahoma. Brian went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2005 after a 15-year battle with brain cancer. Viewing will be held at the First Baptist Church in Tuttle on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. © The Tuttle Times April 21, 2005 July 3, 1975 ~ April 16, 2005 Funeral services for Brian Stewart, 29, of Tuttle, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in the Tuttle High School Gymnasium. Brian Stewart was born on July 3, 1975 to Jim and Jan Stewart of Tuttle, Oklahoma. Brian went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2005 after a 15-year battle with brain cancer. He was the world's first pediatric gene pool therapy patient at St. Jude's hospital in Memphis. After graduating from Tuttle High School, Brian attended Southwestern and USAO. He created a treasure of memories that will live in our hearts forever. Brian had a great love for his family, church and community. He had a special talent for motivating young people as a volunteer coach for football, baseball, basketball and softball. An avid golfer, he will be sorely missed by his golfing buddies. How he loved the golf trips and OU football games. The Sooners, Jason White and Tuttle Tigers have lost their biggest fan. His family and friends are thankful for being blessed with Brian's wonderful smile, his great devotion and most of all, just being a beautiful son, grandson, brother and friend. Now Brian is Home, perfect, enjoying the golf game of his dreams and in the best seat in the house at every OU game. As we go through life, we learn so much from others. People like Brian touch so many lives inspiring us to embrace the gift of life and enjoy living. For the lasting impression, the bright eyes and blessed smile, Brian will always be loved. Brian is survived by his parents, Jim and Jan Stewart and sister Brandi Stewart, Tuttle. Grandparents: Jack and Elwanda Walker, Tuttle; and Joe and Jackie Stewart, Marlow. Aunts and Uncles: Jackie Walker, Greg and Rhonda Walker, Tuttle; Ron Walker, OKC; Mick and Penny Stewart, John and Debbie Brockman, Duncan and many cousins and countless friends. Donations may be made to the Brian Stewart Baseball Field, in c/o Tuttle Public Schools, P.O. Box 780, Tuttle, Oklahoma, 73089 or to the St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
