Opal Mae [Anderton] Self
August 2, 1914 ~ May 2, 2002


Chickasha, Okla. ~ Opal Mae Self, 87, died Thursday, May 2, 2002.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Seiver Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.

Mrs. Self was born August 2, 1914, in Godley, Texas. She was a member of Avenue Baptist Church in Hereford, Texas, and later First Baptist Church of Tuttle.

Survivors include five sons, Leroy Self of Eloy, Ariz., David Self of Ankara, Turkey, Leon Self of Norman, Charles Self of Hereford and Joe Self of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Audrie Stowers of Sun City, Calif.; a brother, Bradford Anderton of Mineral Wells, Texas; a sister, Naomi Merrill of Hereford; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
