Jimmy Lee Rumbaugh
born May 24, 1944 ~ June 20, 2005


Funeral services for Jimmy L. Rumbaugh, 61, of Tuttle, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the Tuttle First Baptist Church.

Jimmy L. Rumbaugh was born May 24, 1944 the son of Lloyd and Edna [Morrow] Rumbaugh and died June 20, 2005 in Norman, Oklahoma.

He and Janet Vowell were married May 27, 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and they moved to Tuttle in 1972.

Jimmy worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier, retiring in 2002.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Edna Rumbaugh; one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include wife: Janet Rumbaugh of the home; one son and his wife: Robert and Jill Rumbaugh of Oklahoma City; one daughter: Sharyl McHugh and fiance Larry Boxley of Chickasha; five grandchildren: Clayton, Duncan, Sydney, Hannah, Hayden; sister-in-law: Loretta and Ed Chavis of Burkburnett, Texas; father-in-law: Don Sorrels of Tuttle and other family members.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
