© The Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Friday, February 12, 1988 October 20, 1886 ~ February 11, 1988 Funeral for William R. Rich, 101, will be at 10 am Monday, February 15, 1988, in the Assembly of God Church in Minco. He was born October 20, 1886, in Sunset, Ark., and died February 11, 1988, in Chickasha. Mr. Rich came to Tuttle in 1926. On Nov. 6, 1906, he married Cynthia Jane Rinker in Newton County, Ark. Mr. Rich was a retired farmer and a member of the Minco Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Rich, on May 2, 1966, and by two daughters, Stella Malcom and Ocie Rich. Survivors include one daughter, Hazel Lindsey of Minco; seven sons, Howard, Corbel, William O., Donald, all of Tuttle, Leamon of Ft. Worth, Texas, Morris of Yuba City, Calif., and Raymond Rich of Broken Arrow; 27 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Interment will be in Fair view Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle. |
© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma May 5, 1966 October 16, 1890 ` May 2, 1966 Funeral services were held for Mrs Cynthia Jane Rich, Wednesday, May 4, in the Pentecostal Holiness church with Rev Ralph McDaniel officiating. Mrs Rich was born October 16, 1890 at Sunset, Ark, passing away May 2, 1966 in the Grady Memorial hospital in Chickasha after a prolonged illness. She married William R. Rich on 11/25/1906 in Newton county, Ark, and they had 9 children. She is survived by her husband, William A. Rich, of the home, 7 sons, Howard J. of Tuttle, Corbie A. of Ft Worth, TX, William O. of Iron Mt, Michigan, Leamon L. of Tulsa, Maurice E. of Yuba City, Calif, Raymond M. of Tulsa, & Donald J. of Tuttle, 2 daughters, Stella M. Malcom of Cushing & Hazel Marie Rich of the home, 2 brothers, Joe Rinker of Elmore City, & O.A. Rinker of Tuttle, 1 half brother, Dan Farris of Durant, and 1 sister, Mrs Lydia Welchel of Tuttle, 25 grandchildren, & 22 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Hartin, Russell Hambleton, Bruce Hanbleton, Walter McCarthey, Harold McCarthey, & Herman Gray. Interment was in the Tuttle Fairview cemetery under the direction of Reynolds funeral home, Minco. |
© The Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday September 27, 1994 August 25, 1907 ~ August 26, 1994 Funeral for James Howard Rich, 87, Tuttle, will be at 10 am Thursday, September 29, 1994, in Sowers Memorial Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, with Larry Harris, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, Tuttle, officiating. He was born August 25, 1907, in Foss, the son of W. R. and Janie Rinker Rich, and died Monday, August 26, 1994, in Grady Memorial Hospital. He moved to Tuttle in 1926 and had lived there since. He was married to Avis Milam on Dec. 11, 1933, in Tuttle. Mr. Rich was self employed and owned a grocery store.< He was a member of the Tuttle First Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Avis Milam Rich; his parents; two sisters, Stella Malcom and Ocie Rich. Survivors include six brothers, William O. Rich of Tuttle, Don Rich of Tuttle, C. H. Rich of Moore, Raymond Rich of Broken Arrow, L. L. Rich of Lamont, Morris Rich of Yuba City, Calif; one sister, Hazel Lindsey of Minco. Interment will be in Fair view Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.br> |

Rich was born June 5, 1914 in Texas and passed away Thursday, December 31, 1992, in Chickasha. Avis married James Howard Rich on December 11, 1933 in Tuttle. Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by 7 brothers & sisters. She is survived by her husband, James, 1 sister, Nona Rich of Oklahoma City, 1 brother, Homer Milam of California. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle. |
