© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma October 12, 2006 April 19, 1928 ~ October 6, 2006 Curtis Ray Percell was born April 19, 1928 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Mattie [Tuttle] and John Alford Percell. Curtis attended school at White Sand. He worked for LeeWay Motor Freight for 26 years as a dock worker and driver and later drove a school bus for Newcastle, Tuttle, and Bridge Creek. Curtis married Ida Mae Brown on July 3, 1952 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and enjoyed being outdoors and loved his family very much. He passed away October 6, 2006 at 78 years of age.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Percell of the home in Oklahoma City; daughters, Teresa Housh of Oklahoma City, Wanda Weber and her husband, John, of Blanchard; grandchildren, Sheresa McDermott of Tuttle, Crystal Weber of Ft. Meyers, Florida; brothers, James Percell of Durant, Kenneth Percell and his wife, Linda, of Oklahoma City; sister, Jerline Hobbs of Bochita; numerous other relatives and friends. |
