© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma January 28, 1982 August 12, 1915 ~ January 22, 1982 Funeral services for Dewey "Jack" Pendley, 66, of 212 South 8th, Tuttle, were Monday in the Sowers Memorial chapel of Seviers Tuttle funeral home with Rev Travis Hanna, Rev C.A. Webb, & Mr Gene Garrett officiating. Mr Pendley was born August 12, 1915 in Harrison, Ark, and passed away early Friday afternoon in Hillcrest hospital, Oklahoma City, following a long illness. He resided in the Tuttle and Minco areas most of his life and was a lifetime resident of Grady county. Mr Pendley worked for Grady county for 17 years and for the Tuttle Lumber company for 7 years before he retired. He married Ruth Garrett December 20, 1933 in Amber. He was preceded in death by his mother & father and by 5 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, 5 daughters, Barbara Coy of Minco, Carolyn Williams of Bloomfield, N.M., Janet Yeakley & Jackie Moody of Tuttle, and Donna Hernandez of Moore, 4 sons, Jim of Abilene, TX, Ram of Tuttle, Larry of Norman, & Jerry of Mustang, 1 brother, Gilbert of Poteau, 1 sister, Leona Moore of Ft Smith, Ark, 28 grandchildren, & 5 great grandchildren. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Seviers Tuttle funeral home. |

Pendley Navarette, 87, of Tuttle, Okla., were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Minco Assembly of God Church, Minco, Okla. Rev. Wes Warren, Minco Assembly of God Church, and Kevin Jones officiated. Ruth A. Pendley Navarette was born July 27, 1916, in Wolfe, Okla., and died on Sunday, November 2, 2003, at her home in Tuttle. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco. |
