William W. "Willie" Murry
January 30. 1889 ~ March 9, 1954


William W. Murray, 65, passed away Tuesday night in an Oklahoma City hospital after a long illness. Last rites were held at the Tuttle Baptist church Thursday afternoon with A.G. Allen officiating.

Mr Murray had lived in the Tuttle vicinity for many years and was a farmer, but about 2 years ago, had to move to Oklahoma City.

He was a member of the Tuttle Baptist church. Music was provided by a choir composed of Mrs W.A. Maberry, Mrs Boyd Troop, Mrs J.L. Rayburn, Mrs Bill Callahan, Mrs Jim George, & Troy Marlow. Pallbearers were: J.L. Rayburn, P.M. Cooley, Benny Douglas, C.C. Elliott, R.C. Melton, & J.H. Corley.

Burial was at Tuttle cemetery under the direction of the Sowers funeral home.

Survivors are, Mrs May Murray, 5 sons, J.D., Ronald, Henry, & James Murray, & step-son, Bill Bartin, 2 daughters, Mrs Mary Richie & Mrs Marion Kietz, 2 sisters, Mrs Annie Alexander, & Mrs Ruth Bomar, 1 brother, Jack Murry, 13 grandchildren, & 5 great grandchildren.
