David Moore Jr
June 3, 1928 ~ May 17, 2006


Funeral services for David Moore, Jr, 77, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma were held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Sowers Memorial Chapel in Tuttle.

David Moore, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 17, 2006. He was born June 3, 1928 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of David Moore, Sr and Elizabeth [McNeill] Moore.

David came to Oklahoma in 1967 from Arkansas. He was a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged April 23, 1948. He was a senior marketing manager with Silvey Property and Casualty Companies where he worked for 31 years before retiring in July of 1994.

David was preceded in death by: Parents: David Moore, Sr. and Elizabeth Moore; One brother: William "Bill" Moore.

Survivors include: His wife: Joy [McCroskey] Moore of the home; One daughter: Martha Elizabeth Moore of Norman, Oklahoma; One son: David Moore III and wife Connie of Overland Park, Kansas; Two grandchildren: David Moore IV of Overland Park, Kansas, Chris Moore of New York City, New York; One brother: Albert Moore and wife Sara of W. Memphis, Arkansas; One sister: Ann Wenzel of Lincoln, Arkansas; One niece and six nephews.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.

Edward Ralph Moore
January 16, 1942 ~ February 29, 2000


Edward R. Moore, 58 years old, of Tuttle, Okla. passed away February 29, 2000. He Was born January 16, 1942 in Apache, Okla. to Charles Moore and Helen Cunningham Moore.

He married Patsy Autry, February 17, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He loved spending time with his family.

He was a hard worker who instilled strong work ethics in his family. He worked as a machinist inspector at Honeywell.

Ed was a man of God who had a strong faith. He practiced what he preached.

He leaves behind his wife, Patsy of the home; son, Edward R. Moore and wife, Sue; son, Timothy R. Moore and wife, Kara; grandchildren, Kannon, Chad, Brandi and Parker survive him. Also, sisters, Charlotte Tippit and Helen Swanda; brothers, Robert Moore, John Moore, and Tom Moore and a host of family and friends.

His parents, Charles & Helen B. [Cunningham] Moore and brother, James Moore, preceded him in death.

Services will be held at St. James Catholic Church, Thursday, March 2, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore, Okla.

Patsy R. [Autry] Moore
June 27, 1940 ~ April 10, 2004


Patsy R. Moore, 63, of Tuttle, was born June 27, 1940 and passed away April 10, 2004.

Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family and worked hard to instill Christian values in her children & grandchildren.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, swimming, cooking, and collecting angel figurines.

She helped to sponser the Feed The Children Fund, and made care packages for the needy children at Christmas.

She is survived by 2 sons, Edward Ralph Moore Jr & wife Sue of Bridge Creek, OK., and Timothy Ray Moore & wife Kara of Midwest City, OK., grandchildren, Kannon, Parker, Paeden, Chad, & Brandi, 5 sisters, Frances Dunagan of Newcastle, OK., Velma Handke of Tuttle, Jean Maney of Choctaw, Gearline Owen of Oklahoma City, & Peggy Copeland of Tuttle, 2 brothers, Jerry Autry of Tuttle and Johnny Autry of Tuttle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Ray & Bessie Autry, husband Edward Ralph Moore Sr, and her baby brother, Ralph Autry, who died in infancy.

Services were held Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at the John M. Ireland funeral home & chapel. Interment followed to Fairview cemetery, Tuttle.
