July 26, 1984 ~ August 16, 2001


Funeral service for Shane Loren Mackey, 17, of Tuttle, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2001, at the Tuttle High School Gymnasium.

Shane Loren Mackey was born July 26, 1984, in Oklahoma City, the son of Mark and Belinda [Jolly] Mackey and died Thursday, August 16, 2001 at his home.

Shane moved to Tuttle from Minco 11 years ago and was a student at Tuttle High School. During his 10th grade year, Shane was the Class President. He also served as secretary of the Student Body and was a member of the golf team. Shane was a member of Snowhill Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his parents, Mark and Belinda Mackey of the home one brother, Ryan Mackey of the home grandparents: Melvin and Ila Fae Mackey of Minco; Mary and Jerry Grissin of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Great-grandmother Virginia Temple of Durham, North Carolina.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.

Contributions may be made to the Snowhill Baptist Church in memory of Shane Loren Mackey.
