Lawrence Earl "Larry" Kosfeld
November 16, 1931 ~ March 17, 2016


Lawrence Kosfeld, age 84, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Thunderbird PCU in Glendale, AZ after a short illness.

He was born November 16, 1931 in St. Louis, MO to Martin and Gertrude [Siemens] Kosfeld. He grew up and attended school in Cuba, MO and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, where he was a jet mechanic.

Lawrence and Jeannie Land were married February 4, 1951. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1956 and he worked in auto parts sales for many years before retiring in 1994.

He was a member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and mother of his children Jeannie [Land] Kosfeld, two brothers Martin and Milton and one sister Ruth.

Survivors include his wife Nelda, whom he married on February 14, 2015, of the home in Phoenix, AZ, one son David Kosfeld and wife Sherri of OKC, one daughter Debbie McMartin and husband David of Wheatland, OK. Also by four grandchildren, Chris McMartin and Laurie, Kimberly Newland and Peter, Ashley Villarruel and Rey, Kayla Deloera and Flavio, seven great grandchildren, Sarah McMartin, Megan, Hailey and Brooklyn Villarruel, Grayson, Madalyn and Paityn Deloera, two sisters Alice Woodruff of Sullivan, MO and Sylvia Hartwick and husband Ivan of Bourbon, MO. Also by bonus children Robbin Woodruff, Tamara Whitlow and Laurie Bates, five step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren and special children June and Chris Herbst.

Services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday 1pm-8pm.

Jean "Jeannie" [Land] Kosfeld
September 10, 1933 ~ December 6, 2009


Funeral services for Jean "Jeannie" Kosfeld, 76, of Oklahoma City, were held Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in the Sowers Memorial Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home in Tuttle.

Jean "jeannie" Kosfeld was born September 10, 1933 in Marlow to Thomas Fred and Eva Mae [Moore] Land.

She passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009 in Oklahoma City.

She married Larry Kosfeld on Feb. 4, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the head cashier at Humpty Foods for several years and also worked as a receptionist for doctor clinics.

Jeannie and Larry lived in Oklahoma City for 53 years and had lived in Missouri before then.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Velma Teague and a brother Leo Land.

Jeannie is survived by her husband, Larry Kosfeld of Oklahoma City, daughter Deborah McMartin and her husband, David of Wheatland, son David Kosfeld and his wife, Sherri of Oklahoma City, four grandchildren and their spouses, four great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
