© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma July 16, 1959 September 26, 1894 ~ July 3, 1959 Last rites were held for Edgar W. Koch, 64, of Tuttle, World War I veteran, who died July 3 at Sulphur veterans hospital. The service was held Tuesday in the Hunter funeral chapel, Oklahoma City. Koch, a native of Topeka, ILL, had been a truck driver for a number of years before ill health forced his retirement 10 years ago. The songs sung were, "Asleep in Jesus", "Beautiful Isle", & "Farther Along". Pallbearers were Earl Cox, Hobert Arnold, John Rupert, Edd Rupert, Sam Wilson, & Dale Elder. Survivors are his wife, Willie Nell, of the home, 2 daughters, Mrs Helen Simmons of Oklahoma City, Mrs Barbara Jo Sams of Farmington, NM, a son, Myrl Edwin of Oklahoma City, a brother, Clarence C & a sister, Miss Lottie M. Koch of Oklahoma City, 10 grandchildren, & 2 great grandchildren. The deceased was a member of the Rooker-Wallace Post 176, Tuttle. A military service was held at the Fairlawn cemetery, Tuttle, where he ws buried. |
© Chickasha Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma November 30, 1994 April 23, 1929 ~ November 29, 1994 Graveside service for Myrl Koch, 65, of Newcastle, OK, will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, December 1, 1994, at the Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, OK. Mr Lewis Haile will officiate. Myrl Koch was born April 23, 1929 in Oklahoma City, and died Tuesday November 29, 1994, in Oklahoma City. He worked for Curtis Equipment Company, retiring after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include 1 daughter, Myrl Basinger of Bedford, TX, 1 son, John Koch of Oklahoma City, mother, Bill N. Jones of Newcastle, OK, 2 sisters, Barbara Holland of Newcastle & Helen Simmons of Blanchard, OK, 6 gransons and 1 great granddaughter. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery under direction of Sevier funeral home. |
