Joy Lee [Ryburn] Kelley
January 21, 1941 ~ April 6, 2019


oy Lee Kelley, 78, of Tuttle, died Saturday, April 6, 2019, in Mustang. The daughter of Pete Kermit Ryburn and Gladys Loreta [McDaniel] Ryburn, she was born January 21, 1941, in Hinton, Oklahoma.

Joy married Donald Ray Kelley on January 17, 1958, in Gracemont, Oklahoma. She worked as a custodian for Minco Baptist Church for 17 years before her retirement. Joy was a member of First Baptist Church in Tuttle, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, reading, and gardening. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved being with her family for special occasions and holidays, especially Easter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; one sister, Bonnie Loveless; and two brothers, Dennis Ryburn and Perry Ryburn.

Joy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Don Kelley of Tuttle; four sons, Larry Kelley and wife, Sheila, of Tuttle, Stephen Kelley and wife, Robin, of Alabama, Martin Kelley of Edmond, and Donald Kelley, Jr. and wife, Renae, of Texas; nine grandchildren, Jason Kelley and wife, Brittany, of Texas, Brian Kelley and wife, Kimberley, of Mustang, Kyle Kelley and wife, Rebecca, of Virginia, Kourtney Smith and husband, Jesse, of Florida, Kandice Pearson and husband, Keith, of Alabama, Kayla Price and husband, Steven, of Virginia, Blake Kelley of Edmond, Brooklynn Kelley of Oklahoma City, and Bryton Kelley of Thackerville; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Ford and husband, Lloyd, of Texas; two sisters-in-law, Renee Ryburn of Weatherford, and Lana Ryburn Cross of Anadarko; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Tuttle. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.
