Martha Edna Johnston
March 12, 1920 ~ May 7, 1988


Graveside services for Martha Edna Johnston, 68, of New Mexico, was held Monday, May 9, 1988, in the Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, with Rev Raymond Shepperd officiating.

Martha Edna Johnston was born March 12, 1920 in Macks Creek, MO, and passed away Saturday, May 7, 1988 in El Paso, TX.

Martha had lived in New Mexico since 1954.

Mrs Johnston married Rex B. Johnston in December 1967 in Truth or Consequences, NM. He preceded her in death June 19, 1982. She was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Glenda Phillips in July 1982.

She is survived by 1 son & daughter-in-law, Billy Joe & Willa Dean Phillips of Buffalo, MO, 1 daughter, Bettie Hatcher of Tallahassee, FL, & 2 grandchildren.

Interment was in Fairview cemetery under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle.
