© Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Del City, Oklahoma October 2017 Lloyd Edward James July 4, 1923 ~ February 3, 2018 Lloyd Edward James, 94, of Bethany, died, Saturday, February 3, 2018, in Oklahoma City. The son of Rolla Loid James and Mary Irene [Brand] James, he was born July 4, 1923, in Oklahoma City. Lloyd served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for the FAA and retired after 35 years of service. He married Margaret Ellen Stratton on October 31, 1943, in Oklahoma City. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with his wife in their RV, visiting many places around the United States and Canada. Lloyd enjoyed listening to music, especially music from the Forties and Fifties. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Rolla and Clysta James; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Charles Thurston; his wife, Margaret James; one son, Ray James; and two brothers, Kenneth James and Raymond James. Lloyd is survived by one son, Glenn James and wife, Sharon, of Tuttle; seven grandchildren, Kevin James of Keys, Bradley James and wife, Elorie, of Colorado, Amy Mack and husband, Steve, of Tulsa, Letitia Scott of Tulsa, Kent James and wife, Jennie, of Bristow, Dedra Dee and husband, Chris Schmidt, of Colorado, and Shawna James and LeAnn Blevins of Coweta; eleven great grandchildren, and one more on the way; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Berta Lee Morris of Washington; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. © The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma September 22, 2005 Mary Earlene [Johnson] James August 23, 1943 ~ September 15, 2005 Mary Earlene James was born August 23, 1943 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Elizabeth [Adams] and Earl Johnson. Earlene graduated from Grant High School in Oklahoma City. She married Jim James on January 14, 1977 in Gainsville, Texas. She retired from the South Robinson Animal Hospital in Oklahoma City. Earlene moved 24 years ago from Oklahoma City to Bridge Creek. She was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, crafts and gardening. She passed away September 16, 2005 at 62 years of age. Survivors include her husband Robert "Jim" of Tuttle; sons Troy and wife Kathy of Oklahoma City, Kyle and wife Renee of Keller, Texas; daughters Shelly Felder and husband David of Moore, Lori Whygle and husband Chuck of Bridge Creek, Frances Nicholson and husband Stan of Moore; grandchildren April Bryan, Stephanie Felder, Rhiannon Campbell, Cameron Bryan, Jesse James, Perry Vanderpool, Ryan Whygle, Blake Whygle; great grandchildren P.J. Jeffrey, Clay Rankin; mother Elizabeth Johnson of Oklahoma; brother Larry Kramer and wife Meggin of Reno, Nevada; numerous other relatives and friends. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Bridge Creek. Reverend David River officiated with interment held in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle.
