Frank Wilson Hunsaker Jr
March 31, 1925 ~ August 1, 2013


Frank Wilson Hunsaker, Jr., 88, of Tuttle, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City. The son of Frank Wilson Hunsaker, Sr., and Zoa [Goodwin] Hunsaker, he was born March 31, 1925 in Hannibal, Missouri.

Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Forces and earned two purple hearts during WWII.

He married Joyce Lillie Higgs on March 29, 1947 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.

He worked as a building engineer for Oklahoma Natural Gas for many years and attended Bethel Baptist Church. Frank loved his church and was very involved in working with the youth. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hunsaker, of Tuttle; daughter, Sherri Hunsaker and husband, Dennis Coon, of Tuttle; brother-in-law, Roy Dean Higgs and wife, Margie, of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Bonnie Seefeldt of Tennessee; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 5, 2013 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.

Joyce Lillie [Higgs] Hunsaker
December 25, 1928 ~ March 07, 2020


Joyce Lillie Hunsaker, 91, of Tuttle, died Saturday, March 7, 2020, in Tuttle. The daughter of Charlie Arthur Higgs and Flora Mae (Allen) Higgs, she was born December 25, 1928, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.

Joyce married Frank Wilson Hunsaker, Jr. on March 29, 1947, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. She worked as a supervisor for the Hartford Insurance Company for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Tuttle. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed gardening, but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Hunsaker; and three brothers, James Albert Higgs, Paul Mark Higgs, and Roy Dean Higgs.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Hunsaker and husband, Dennis Coon, of Tuttle; her sister, Bonnie Seefeldt of Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Margie Higgs of Oklahoma City; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.
