© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma February 25, 2009 August 4, 1930 ~ February 18, 2009 Services for Wanda Raye Humphries, 78, were held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Wanda Raye Humphries was born to Mary Lee [Steelman] and Robert Martin Earnhart on August 4, 1930 in Oklahoma City. She passed away February 18, 2009 at 78 years of age. She married William Humphries on May 28, 1948 the day after they both graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. They moved to Tuttle in 1965 from Meza, Ariz. She was employed by Southwestern Veterinarian Clinic in Oklahoma City and enjoyed being a homemaker. Wanda was a great artist of charcoal and enjoyed training dogs and was the training director of Oklahoma City Obedience Club. Survivors include her husband, William, of the home in Tuttle: son, Gary Humphries and his wife, Wanda, of Blanchard; daughter, Valerie Trumbly and her husband, Raymond, of Bridgecreek; grandchildren, Travis Humphries, Ryan Humphries, Dr. Alan Trumbly, Brian Trumbly; three great-grandchildren: other relatives and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deborah Susan Humphries in 1951. Arrangements were made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard. |
