© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma August 16, 1973 February 15, 1901 ~ August 8, 1973 Funeral service for Homer Hoover was held Saturday in Sowers Memorial chapel of the Sevier funeral home in Tuttle, with Loran Smith officiating. Mr Hoover, 72, a retired Frisco Railroad employee, died Wednesday in Hillcrest hospital, Oklahoma City. He was born February 15, 1901 at Asher. Survivors include his wife, Edith and 1 son, Joe Frank, of the home, 2 other sons, Bill & Jerry of Oklahoma City, 1 daughters, Mrs Gloria Jean McIntyre of Yukon, 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers, B.C. Hoover of Tuttle & Elmer Hoover of Anadarko, and 3 sisters, Miss Bertha Hoover of Oklahoma City, Mrs Iva Chitwood of Fairfax, Okla, & Mrs Janie Hogland of Rock Island, ILL. Music was furnished by the Tuttle Church of Christ choir. Pallbearers were J.C. Stowe, Claude Haywood, Lawell Banta, Wade Hill, Jerry Mooney & Redford Ivie. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, |

April 6, 1914 ~ July 26, 2003 Funeral services for Edith Hoover, 89, of Tuttle, Okla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Tuttle Assembly of God Church. Edith Hoover was born April 6, 1914, and died on Saturday, July 26, 2003. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle. |
