© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma January 24, 1952 May 4, 1893 ~ January 15, 1952 The Last rites were held Saturday at the Church of Christ for Kelly Hestand, 58, who died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday evening. Mr Hestand seemed well and had worked all day about the place. He had been here from Phoenix, AZ for several months and was making his home in Tuttle. He lived here formerly before going to Phoenix. A mixed choir sand "Going Down The Valley" & "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". C.L. Taylor preached the funeral service. Pallbearers were: Claude Haywood, Kay Nickels, Roy Ridge, J.D. Lynn, Horace Potter, & Jesse Plumlee. Survivors are 2 sons, Ella Ray & Lou of Phoenix, 7 daughters, Elouise, Evelyn, June, Dorothy, Linda, Delores, & Vernay, all of Phoenix, his mother, Mrs Anne Hestand of Tuttle, 4 brothers, L.H. of Chickasha, P.H. of Midwest City, F.M. of Warr Acres, W.A. of Tacoma, Wash, and 5 sisters, Mrs G.F. Posey of Watonga, Mrs Herman Robin of Midwest City, Mrs C.P. Plumlee of Tuttle, Mrs C.L. Unsell of Oklahoma City, & Mrs Ray Kinchon of Houston, TX. Burial was at Fairlawn cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sowers funeral home. |
