He passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 in Norman, OK at the age of 62. Hubert "Dwight" Henson was born May 17, 1948 in Tuttle, to Cleo & Maudeen [Canary] Henson. He passed away Monday, August 9, 2010, in Norman, OK. Dwight was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. In July 1987, he married Janet Creek Englebretson in Gainsville, TX, and they had a happy & successful marriage for 23 years. They enjoyed traveling, going to car shows, taking drives, or spending time with family, just as long as they were together. Dwight was known by all who knew him to be "The Car Guy". He was always trying to "fix it" for everyone else. Dwight had a strong faith and love for God. Dwight had lived in the Tuttle and Newcastle area all of his life. He had worked in the oil fields and was an electrician. He served in the National Guard for 7 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Cleo. He is survived by his wife Janet of Tuttle, 2 daughters, Michelle Mincey & husband Timothy of Tuttle and Melinda Baird & husband Tony of Oklahoma City, 2 sons, Steve Henson of Seminole, OK and Oscar Englebretson of Tuttle, his mother, Maudeen McGregor of Tuttle, a sister, Gayla Bishop & husband Donnie of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, Roger Henson & wife Johnna of Oklahoma City and Raymond Henson & wife Tammy of Ft Cobb, and 17 grandchildren. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle. |
