© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Purcell, Oklahoma November 2, 2015 Tena [Fisher] Everhart December 31, 1945 ~ November 2, 2015 Tena Everhart age 69 of Tuttle, formerly of Yukon, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 02, 2015. She was born on December 31, 1945 in Norman, Oklahoma. Tena was the third child of four children born to Benjamin Franklin Fisher Sr. and Ruby Belle [McWhorter] Fisher. Tena grew up a farm girl living in the Newcastle community. She attended Newcastle schools and graduated with the class of 1964. She later married and raised two daughters, Kris and Jodi. Tena worked hard as a homemaker, wife, mother and provider. She worked most of her life in the oil and gas industry as a Landman, and just recently retired in May of this year. Tena married Cody Everhart in 1995 and they made their home in OKC for many years. They later moved to Yukon and only recently moved to Tuttle this past year. She loved nothing more than being together with her family, playing Uno, laughing, and loving on her grandchildren. Tena also loved raising horses, calves, goats and spoiling her dogs and cat. An avid Thunder Fan, Tena never missed watching the Oklahoma City Thunder. She was the rock in her daughters' lives, and the love of Cody's life. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by: Parents, Ben and Ruby Fisher; Brother, Benny Fisher. She is survived by: Husband, Cody Everhart of the home in Tuttle; Two daughters, Kris McKay and husband Russ of Blanchard, Jodi Hood and husband Ken of Broken Arrow; Four grandchildren, Falon McKay of Blanchard, Kasey Turner and husband Jackson of El Paso, TX, Alex Hood of Broken Arrow and Anna McKay of Blanchard. One sister, La Vonia Tracy of Norman; One brother, Jimmy Fisher and wife Carolyn of Norman; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A Memorial Service for our beautiful mother and beloved wife, will be held around her autumn blaze maple tree, Wednesday, November 04, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at 1018 County street 2937, Tuttle, OK. All are welcome to join us as we celebrate her life. Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
